Luton Carnival

Britain’s largest one day carnival. After a fantastic event in 2009, Luton International Carnival is returning in 2010! The town centre is set to come alive with spectacular colourful costumes, music from around the globe, street entertainers, and international food to tickle your taste buds. So join in the fun on Bank Holiday Monday, 31 May 2010, from 12 noon until 7pm.

Luton Fringe Festival

Luton Fringe festival is back for its third year on the 23 - 29 July 2010. Luton Fringe will be showcasing, once again, new and exciting work from professional artists and companies. We are now looking for all those talented performers who would like to get on stage this summer. And the range of arts on show is being expanded. New for 2010 are comedy, live art and afternoon children’s theatre.

Luton Mela

Held each August, the Mela - copied from the long-standing traditions of South Asia - strengthens communities by bringing people together in a festival atmosphere where everyone can enjoy food, music and dance.

St Patricks Day

The St Patrick’s Festival is a week long celebration of Irish Culture and Heritage which gives all of Luton’s communities the opportunity to experience Irish music, song, dance and drama.

Luton Festival of Transport

Now in its nineteenth year has become firmly established on the classic vehicle calendar. With over 1400 classic cars in 2009 plus many buses, commercial vehicles, motorcycles and interesting road vehicles of all types.

Luton Cultural Food Festival

Luton is hoping to once again hold a Cultural Food Festival in the town following the success of the first event last year and we want you to tell us what you think!
